Professional women's sport faces lots of issues, but this one's about possibly the most basic one - too many people don't know and/or care that it exists aditrs.mataroa.blog/blog/theres-...

That’s odd but great overall. We need a hemisphere international tiered tournament.

That’s the ten over league right? Hopefully we can get a couple of Canadian franchises added to MLC.

Very cool. I was watching some red-ball from Australia on YouTube the other day. I want to say it was Queensland playing.

Sadly, there's not a lot of #T20Cricket that I can watch but I am digging the #WNBA playoffs and the #NHL is back.

Just randomly looking at scores and saw @somersetccc.bsky.social with 691/8. That’s insane. Is this a record? For county? Country? Something? Such a crazy high score for red ball. Tom Abell at 284 for 385. Just mind melting numbers. Guy must be sleeping hard after all that.

Annnnd, she just broke the single season scoring record. 1,023 points.

Holy cow! Kelsey Mitchell just broke past 1,000 points in a season. Girl is killing it out there! #INDvTOR #WNBA

First time seeing #TorontoTempo home court. It’s very simple but I love the classic look and maroon is always a solid option. #WNBA

This #CPL eliminator is a low affair so far. Tridents only 49-5 after 10. King (0 for 5), K Anderson (0 for 4) and Descarte (0 for 2) all gone for ducks. On track for 98 which is a ROUGH target to defend. #T20Cricket🏏

Obviously this would be a statistical anomaly. The Rockers are top of the table and the Wolves likely won't have a great chance of winning. It's even less likely the Guardians overcome the Dockers to secure only their second win. Likely scenario is both Rockers and Dockers at 15, Flames at 13.

I have t had much time to actually watch the #ETPL but tomorrow’s final fixture could setup a really interesting final table. If the Wolves and Guardians both win, the top four will all be level at 13 points and everything will be de used by net run rate. I love this game. #T20Cricket🏏

I'm still bummed Gay picked England over Italy but I get it. That being said, I think in the limited Test innings he has had, he's played really great.

This botanical research for #Cricket🏏 willow trees is really fascinating. Turns out that I was correct in my initial thought that if it grew in England that it likely grows in the States as well. Apparently the Salix alba caerulea aka Cricket Bat Willow grows in New England.

Love to have woken up to an English #TestCricket🏏 win. Pakistan made a good show of it in their second innings but England completed the home sweep. I honestly thought post-BazBall would have taken longer to get off the ground.

Just read the last page of William Gibson’s Neuromancer and am just blown away. This was such an amazing book and really had me feeling how I did when I read Frankenstein in a single night in high school 20+ years ago. Absolutely mind altering and just a masterpiece.

A little of that yes. They’re also use the big rollers to compact it down as much as they can. I’m not an expert on pitch preparation but that is what helps lead to wildly different results in different locals and soil makeup. I’m certain there are more pitch savvy folks about #Cricket🏏

This is a brilliant question. I believe ‘technically’ one could argue that The Hundred is #T20Cricket🏏 purely on the basis that each team gets twenty overs. I follow a lot of T20 and I consider the competition as part of the format. Record keepers seem to agree it looks like.
