Allegheny County is showing real leadership here. 18 weeks of paid parental leave would give working families time to heal, bond, and care without sacrificing a paycheck. This is a meaningful step toward the pro-family policies every worker deserves.

Every day I lose the battle of encouraging people to try using your own brain and not outsource thinking to chat gpt. Do you understand how sad it is for an event host to send you discussion prompts clearly written by chat gpt? Can we use AI to predict how bad that discussion will be?

Just to be clear thats 500-700k over 3 days, not all at once. We can very much handle 250k a day. Its busy but doable!

I'm no poo pooing concerns, but a lot of fear is coming from people who live no where near it and won't be impacted at all and thats where I think some negativity can be tempered.

That's fine, you don't have to go! But now you know the crowd is manageable, parking will just be limited and expensive.

I am not the demo for the Draft and there are still parts I think will be fun. Pittsburgh worked really hard to build an event that features locals, maybe JUST MAYBE some people will have a good time!

Look, the NFL Draft doesn't have to be your thing. You can skip it! But the negativity is ... strange. The marathon is hugely disruptive for a day, and we celebrate it. If people talked about avoiding Anthrocon like they talk about the Draft we would tell them to stfu.

I think the reason AI propagandists are so flustered by the fact that no real writer wants to use their idiotic tools is that they themselves don't enjoy writing. They see it as a boring arduous chore to be avoided, while real writers actually enjoy writing and actually care about the quality of it.

Yet again r/roadtrips is valiantly trying to save a European from their carefully planned itinerary
Hey everyone,
I'm an 18-year-old from Norway traveling to the
US this summer, and i'll be meeting a friend in St.
Louis. From there, we're planning a road trip and I'd love some advice on what to see along the way.
We'll be leaving around June 25-27 and need to be back in St. Louis before July 4, so we've only got about a week.
V
Current plan:
• Start in St. Charles / St. Louis
• Drive up to Livingston, Montana (staying 2 nights visiting a friend
• Then down to Jackson, Wyoming to see the Tetons
• Skipping Yellowstone because of crowds
• Continue down to Albuquerque, New Mexico (also want to check out Breaking Bad filming locations)
• Then back toward Missouri, possibly via parts of Route 66
