Best chilli and garlic oil yet! *insert Hamlet quote here

This is true, but the idea that they will be ‘plunged into poverty’ is al what this partially disputes with that whopping 40% stat there. It does also show our cultural view towards land lording as the ‘one safe investment’ and that perhaps pushing that is the real evil here, not pushing for reform

More of these surveys, whee the results are very publicly shown will drive home that many ideas for tenancy overhaul eg rent controls will not be plunging thousands of (semi-)retired couples who are landlords into poverty, a common refrain of landlord groups when these measures are pushed

perhaps you'll allow me to share w/ ye what I just learned which is that ‘pukapuka’ is not in fact the Māori transliteration of ‘book’ as often stated; rather the kupu came about when our tīpuna saw the “leaves” of books & likened them to native puka leaves so named the collection of them: pukapuka

Whoop whoop! I went through a similar ‘fuck I need to advocate for myself’ thing for the same reasons this year to get listened to medically and it’s so liberating! If anything feels uncomfortable just tell them, don’t let them dismiss you! ❤️🥳

It makes me so sad when I know they’ve been there a while. I know with complex medical issues it can take a while to rehome because of practical issues but with others I always feel it just breaks my heart to not be able to find a logical reason why someone wouldn’t want that cat :(

Wear whatever you enjoy wearing ❤️ I’m aware there’s always that age worry because society does like to do that, but I think it would be fine even with people who are judgemental like that (not that I feel that’s who you should listen to)

Other than trying a gentle, really slow switch over of food to something make for a sensitive tum and perhaps has low/no grains I’d recommend a trip to the vets if possible

Hey could it be grains? My mum’s cat is an I door cat who came to her as a semi feral kitten who at 7yo has just started having problems digesting grains

My husband is both raising funds for leukaemia and blood cancer AND teaching his high school class about the significance of social actions in social studies, so if you could see your way to donating a few dollars you would be Extra Virtuous 💜 www.shaveforacure.co.nz/brent-ericso...

Be supportive of people but not angry at them for their decisions. Tough love and anger don’t need to be the same thing Also here’s a fluffy boy because why not

thinking about making this into a model for upcoming youtube videos where I make art and sculpt random stuff in Blender 3D. i had the idea of like, a bat that died mid-air, fell into honeycomb, and was brought back to zombie life by the power of sheer sugar. which is how i feel most days!

Blocky illustration of a skeletonized bat in a ribcage-print t-shirt with rolled up sleeves. Instead of skin, the bat has a layer of dripping orange honey on his bones.

Sometimes you find small sellers who know where their stuff comes from & depending on where you are globally know how it was found/mined/excavated and it’s not as bad,I’m also not pooping on small businesses& individuals working hard to survive but I also find second hand stuff through these guys:)

I’ve been buying second hand (it’s a thing!) for a long time, the same for jewellery due to the environmental impact! I appreciate every so often getting something very special abs meaningful new but as a rule, second hand and vintage it unique, gorgeous and environmentally kinder ❤️

I love it when people debunk so much of the faff around their lives! There’s no one secret to success, some people don’t try and it just falls at their feet- life has so many variables, so much luck. Do your best to point yourself where you want to be, try your luck, look after your health, and hope

Yes, yes it is. My aunt’s cancer diagnosis turnover was 10 days, she’s getting her treatment plan in a few days and it’s all free. I appreciate the conservatives have worn it down but I won’t shit on it, it’s still an immense achievement and still saves lives daily.
