This fat pigeon doesn’t even know how beautiful she is sitting on top of this old building’s vanity lights
Pigeon standing or sitting on this aluminum rectangular box like structure, which has light shining upward for lighting an old building, with some broken stucco type material on the wall that is kind of a beige color. It’s daytime so the building itself is not really lit up, but the bottom of the pigeon has sort of pink, reddish and green colors from the lighting, the pigeon is just sitting there, looking off to our left.

So Clip Studio Paint took down a ton of faceless, junk-less 3D models that looked like they might be thinking about smooching each other, right? Now search for "dildo" on the assets store. 💀

So did any materials actually win the most recent closed material contest (Theme was "oil.") for Clip Studio Paint or were they too busy censoring materials to pick any winning ones? The tag is empty for me.

One of my favourite moments from Taronga Zoo Sydney: This beautiful Andean Condor. She was on the aviary floor when I arrived, but on seeing me she flew up to a perch and started preening right in front of me. All the other park visitors just walked past, but I was smitten. #birds
Photo of an Andean Condor standing on a rock in the sunlight. She is a very large vulture with black and white feathers, a bald head, and bright red eyes. She is facing away from the viewer (towards the sun), with her wings partly spread.Same subject, much closer to the viewer. She has her back towards the viewer but has turned her head to preen her back feathers and is looking at the viewer with her bright red eyes. Her back feathers are black with subtle iridescent highlights in the sunlight, and she has a fluffy white ruff around the base of her neck.Same subject but she has turned to look directly at the viewer, face-on. With her long, hooked beak foreshortened she looks quite sweet and friendly.Same subject, still close to the viewer but now in profile as she has turned to face the sun. Her long, viciously hooked beak is prominent, but she still has a look of wide-eyed innocence about her.

Ideas are cheap. Anyone can have ideas. Everyone HAS ideas. There’s no barrier of entry for having an idea. You don’t need genAI. Scribbling your idea onto a piece of paper is infinitely more creative and rewarding than feeding it to the stolen slop machine in return for a soulless render.

Today’s #SciArtSeptember prompt is the colour saffron which made me think of a particular yellow-orange mushroom. This is a hand-carved lino block reduction print of a clump of poisonous, Eastern jack-o-lantern mushrooms (Omphalotus illudens) on a hardwood tree stump. 🧪
As described this is my 8” x 10” linocut reduction print of a clump of several Eastern jack-o-lantern mushrooms in yellow-orange with glow-in-the-dark gills against a decaying tree stump with textured bark in grey, brown and black, and ground with dead leaves with green in a corner of the background. The print is signed and numbered by me, Ele Willoughby, 2024.

THIS! No idea is new. Every idea's been had before, somewhere. What makes it original is how you make it yours. And that means your voice, your experience, your interpretation, your passion and belief. How you see it, in your head. And that's EXACTLY what LLMs can't do!
