Here's a thread of some of isolated sound design I did for Nuts in #monkeywrench ep 6! Being a mechanical man, all of his movement sounds are a combination of servos from a DeWalt drill of mine, some rattly metal for footsteps, and a little bit of squish. Just a little. #indieanimation

Today on TokuToy Impact - I finally managed to grab another one of these guys, and I got one of my favorite classic Rider designs (for toys, anyway) Riderman just has that vintage toy aesthetic I love. See more Instagram - www.instagram.com/p/Dd_jQ89Efw0 Tumblr - www.tumblr.com/steelajeeg/8...

I noticed that the backlash for both shows has in common that the reasons people said they're offensive are just pulled out of a script and not present at all. People said that Dang was perpetuating the model minority trope even though the trailer makes it super clear that they're all fuck-ups.

Yes! There should be in option in programs like Stacher or Tartube to download the subs as an external file that you can load in a program like VLC. I know Pinchflat gives an option for that but it’s a self hosted app for servers.

"You're only 28, you shouldn't be feeling old about teenage fandom days" I feel MUCH older in internet years and I'm still not sure if that's a positive or negative. Either way while I'm watching less shows and not being super vocal it's nice to actually absorb what I'm watching.

010

A2Adam @a2adam.blacksky.app · 02/10/2026

I know that I shouldn't be super hard on myself especially as a kid, but I think back to my time in fandom and I do feel like everything revolved way more around facts, debates, and shitposting rather than watching the shows themselves. I'm glad stuff like that doesn't really affect me now.

A2Adam @a2adam.blacksky.app · 02/10/2026

Burning the midnight oil so I'm just thinking out loud. I was around for the first couple of episodes of Ex-Aid but being a teenager + falling out of love with Twitter's toku community FAST caused me to just drop keeping up with these shows as they aired for the longest time. Excited to finish it.

it's a bit anticlimactic looking at book sales numbers since they trickle in very slowly when dealing with 3rd party retailers, etc., but I sold AT LEAST 38 copies of my book last month, which isn't bad, considering i don't know what the hell i'm doing

Book cover. A galaxy background with a purple eye, a green eye, and a fancy title above them: "Secrets of the Yllime" and a plainer sub-title: "Book One INCORPOREAL" beneath the eyes. My name "SARAH MOON" in smaller print beneath that. Art by sambeawesome. Cover design by Jes Deprez.
