listened to ruba ghazal on corner booth and her arguments for sovereignty make no sense to me. she says quebec is open to immigrants, but canada isn’t so she feels more welcome in quebec (what?), and seems to feel a quebec constitution can only be drafted along with independence.

I went to Mississauga city council on Sept 16 and met up with the activists pushing for a pause on data centres, and watched grassroots organizing have a direct impact on a city. Despite the win, this is not the end of the data centre story in Canada. Listen to this podcast.

If you, btw, would like an example of a place where data centres are *actually* being restricted by legislation, go look at Denmark - where they are now last in the grid connection queue, prioritising socially valuable load growth (like electrification, heating, cooling, new homes) first
