Yeah the stuff isn't easy for sure. For prints I'm going to sand a bunch anyway like the stands I print with a 1mm nozzle. Otherwise I have to switch to my direct drive toolhead since it has a better extruder.

I imagine a clear UV resin for printing would work! I know I've seen more traditional craft UV resin used in this situation by Warhammer YouTubers. But this was made with two part craft resin tinted with mica powder. I asked local dice makers what their go to brand was and got the same!

The best use case I have for #3dprinting is the dumb little spacers, etc. you print because you need to solve a problem right then and there. Like this stupid gigantic GPU not having the right size offset for the case, so I just printed a screw and a nut and 3M-taped it in place under compression.

I finished this quickish project today (deadlines are a real motivator to me and this is a gift 😅) Traced a stock photo in #Procreate, set up for #3Dprinting in #Blender, printed in FDM and filled in with resin, tinted with mica powder for ✨sparkle✨ Inspired by Peter Brown on YouTube!

To the 3D printer-ers here, I'm looking for a faster and more reliable replacement for my CR-6 SE over the next few months for printing simple-ish tools and trinkets. Do I go Bambu Lab P1S/P—unless the X1C is worth the upgrade, or go Prusa MK4? I'm open to recommendations! #3dprinting
