Dry January has been a relative breeze and has ticked the boxes I wanted to. There was one challenging evening when a WhatsApp chat about beer led to a discussion about Kernel India Porter. Until today. A particularly challenging day at work had me wanting a beer when getting in. I didn’t though.

Day 5 of #12BeersofXmas and I’ve picked one of my favourite breweries of 2024, Azvex. Daemon Engine is a thick, juicy, tropical fruit bomb of an 8.2% DIPA. Fantastic!

Beer two of my #12BeersOfXmas is a regular in the Christmas rotation now. A modern tradition of mine. Nutmeg, cinnamon and raisin but without being too cloying or sweet. A lovely little festive number.
