ironically he thinks of me as a holiday hater now but I honestly quite like christmas, it's just that mariah carey is my mortal nemesis and I don't spend hundreds of brand new dollars every year on disney themed christmas deco so we simply cannot even see eachother across such a distance

there is a place for gay halloween but for me it is not the workplace

160

their current costume concept (without me) is huey dewey & louie wearing their own recursive halloween costumes... see if i had to explain to a customer why I was a sheet ghost and also a duck I would go insane

120

I finally sucked it up and told my boss not to include me in his group halloween costume plans anymore fddjgh. maybe I hate fun. but I don't like dressing up I just always let the peer pressure of it being a "group" costume get to me. plus I always end up having to cross dress

I think the thick mono line is the first thing I notice, and then after that you have a consistent way of drawing eyes where they're sort of wide set with a big shine on top 🤔

trying to retrace my steps, thedecavershamhousehold.wordpress.com/2014/08/11/h... here's the one about veils I mentioned, plus I looked at the collection of miniature portraits on the victoria&albert museum website. I may very well have seen one of henry's wives amidst all that 👀

I did do basic research but I didn't save any of the references, I just drew while looking at them and based the final drawings on that

turbles @2urbles.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I hoarded a pair of frames from work and drew these specifically to put in them #turblart

a calico cat posed for a portrait wearing medieval inspired costume. in the background is a tower with fire coming out of the windows, which is based on a gigantic cat tower we used to have that was made out of an industrial shipping tube.

a tuxedo cat wearing medieval inspired costume and holding a peacock feather. in the background is a peacock on a millefleur field of california poppies and blackberry vines.

I've participated in almost every volume and it's been so gratifying every time, both from the exp of working with the artists and organizers, and from the reception for the books themselves. every time I'm surprised over again that "oc zine" is a niche anyone is interested in lol

Shipping costs are crazy nowadays... but we want our book to be accessible no matter where you live. So we decided to cover a huge portion of the international shipping cost. This applies retroactively, so you'll also get the updated price even if you've already pledged!

like wowie. you can make a full range of characters, cute ones, handsome ones, dorky ones, shy ones, gentle, energetic, all the type of characters you'd see in a FE game. and literally just give them dark skin. they can just have dark skin. all you have to do is design them with dark skin. waow

I like how shamir was the only person from dagda in 3H, and you might think her design would be representative of how people there look, but no it turns out you just happened the meet the palest person on the entire continent first

it's kinda funny how the creators of EVA specifically said the christian imagery in the show is ONLY for aesthetics but here i am still being deeply moved by the cold indifferent all powerful father forcing his vulnerable son to die an agonizing death for strangers.
