thinking about alphinaud saying "it's good to be home" when returning to the rising stones in the shb patches and alisaie saying "i'll have you know i'm very fond of the rising stones" when the wol compares it to the leveilleur estate. tissue. sniffs. fambily

while hermes is being discussed i think a lot of people's opinions on him are not only reflective of their opinions on people of color, as has been mentioned, but also people with mental illnesses and disabilities

I love that the cure for a bunch of terminal aether maladies in FFXIV is just porxies. Imagine being told by doctors that you're dying but there's a cure and it's, like. Just a cute flying pig that flutters around and makes you feel warm. It's like being prescribed kittens. God I wish that was real

Is nonbinary Zero really a headcanon when Ayumi Nagae from the design team is saying stuff like “Zero’s concept is “genderless”” “It’s ambiguous whether the character is male or female” “beauty that transcends gender”

i like that the wol has enough situational awareness to not go on the offensive whenever someone mildly pisses them off but also must be reminded several times not to kill everyone in the room when a confrontation is inevitable. the warrior of light has never heard of hostages

Dural Tharal: "The mere thought of Picot's past productions is enough to make most fans swoon—a true testament to his talent! And if the rumours are true, he strives to serve *all* his fans, be they lads or ladies. Which means there's hope yet that I too can be a princess under his sovereign smile..."

It's all "AI is the future" and "you can't get the genie back in the bottle" until the public don't like it and then it's "nooo this was handmade by real humans, it has a heart" and you try to fabricate a process that was never there. My dudes, if AI was so great you wouldn't need to lie about it.

Hi! It's Jirou's birthday on Halloween, so I wanted him to have a little party! Get your costumes ready! From Vampire Lord to Slightly Overfluffed Moogle, and all points inbetween! Details are in the pictures, and in the replies below ^^ @partyingway.bsky.social #ffxivartparty #AllSaintsNamedayAP

Jirou in casual clothes laughing as he is back-to-back with a second Jirou who is in a vampire costume, and is looming playfully threateningly over him.

Jirou is in his vampire costume, eating a cookie shaped like a jack-o'-lantern and holding his cat Minx in one arm.

As a good friend of mine put it: Jirou's getting the 'baby brother' treatment

Jirou is about to be bodily flung into the ocean by his brothers Artoirel and Emmanellain, as a wheelchair-bound Haurchefant watches from behind

Harper has not noticed the Shenanigans™ occuring, too engrossed in his book. His faerie, Lily, has, though.
