Only a few days to go. I'll be at the Alexandria Art on the Avenue this Saturday, October 3rd!

Tried to estimate what % I let AI handle on different tasks for this app.

I will get at least two days of Red October. And one Kruck game since it’s on Peacock!

Sure, I’ll do the thing and carbon date myself. Why not.

Something a little different for finished Friday. I’ll be taking a release candidate for this app to Alexandria next weekend. Some design process images of the primary screen.

I'm not much of a Pokémon person, but my son is & trying to buy him cards at retail prices has been nigh on impossible the last couple of years, and I refuse to pay scalpers for anything. So it warms the cockles of my heart to see so many of them having a full meltdown about the recent set. Enjoy!!

At the stage of app development when I convince myself that it sucks and I made a pile of garbage. I have to wait it out and not do anything stupid.

My new analogy for AI coding is a hand saw vs a table saw. A table saw lets you do more at scale with nice, clean cuts. But you don't just turn it on and throw boards at the blade. You have to know what you're doing, know what it's doing and what it's best at, and be in full control.

WIP Monday! I don’t usually do 1/4 inch trim for a Halloween piece but I doubt I ever do Wart again, unlike Rosalina, so I’m letting it rip. #pixelart #wood

YouTube shorts has turned into AI slop central, especiallly in the ads. Lots of AI demo videos of things you can buy that probably work only 1/4 as well as the fake video.

Since I’ve had no real shows since August I’ve been using kid baseball games as fake shows to field test. Batters are recorded as visitors, one color for home, one color for away, and hits are logged as sales.

I was thinking if I were to release this new app it would be March at best. It’s looking like by end of October right now. Would be less than 2.5 month turn around from first idea to actual release.

Bummed about how much great stuff is going to horror, which I am ill-equipped to handle. I couldn't enjoy a lot of Widow's Bay's humor because I was too on edge about scares.

Ready to reveal that I've been working on a mobile app to help log visitors and sales through these art shows and events. If you have any upcoming fall shows and would like to BETA test, give me a DM!

I almost can't believe what I'm looking at. It's unmistakably Ocarina in every motion, look, sound, and note, unlike those Final Fantasy VII remakes. But it looks like nothing I've played before. I don't know how they figured out this balance.

I have never met a developer who thinks of AI coding like AI image generation. It’s like the invention of the dish washer. You can only “vibe” for prototyping though. You have to be in control of the decision making and know how to properly structure and QA to effectively release anything.

Still on airs about Oak Street. A great sci-fi / Twilight Zone style movie that happens to have dinosaurs. The dinosaurs themselves and their animalistic behaviors are handled better than any movie, including even the original Jurassic.

Last night was the first night in my life (that I can recall) where I woke up sobbing from a dream, not because the content was sad or scary, but because it was so funny. I dreamt Bobby Hill was a Pokemon trainer and he said, “Well, I caught about 20. I can’t imagine there’s many more than that.”

I've been working on an app for the first time in a long while, which I'm not ready to share yet. This is such a drug. No matter what else I do, interactivity is still my favorite artistic medium.

Convinced "Cosmic BookNews" is a Zack Snyder-funded outlet designed to boost his image and invent narratives for himself, like how he (probably) astro-turfed all that Snyder Cut interest to trick WB exces. Does anyone really care about Snyder DC anymore to read this many stories on it?
