alright im gonna eat crow a bit here i’ve shit on influencers in the past for getting their bag. i still don’t agree w a lot of it, esp working with unethical companies. but when done ethically with technical chops/a background to stand on… 🤷🏼‍♀️ i think im starting to empathize now

It’s challenging though because you’re always going to have a slight urge to maintzin good relationships with certain companies. E.G when I had a good relationship with Microsoft / Xbox my criticism was always as nice as possible. But it was doable.

The unfortunate bit is even in tech those are rare. Even finding nicer companies to work with, you’re gonna have companies quibble over minor wordings, your other posts, what events you might attend. The company entitlement in the content world is comical

That is totally valid, you're allowed to change your perspective. This stuff is really challenging to navigate, and there's no ethical consumption under capitalism and all that. Just look out for yourself.
