Elad Nehorai @eladn.bsky.social · 29/11/2024The last year should have taught very well that liberals, progressives, and the left are not immune to misinformation. And if you think you’re immune, you are by definition more susceptible. 2463599
SandaBlueDeux @sandabluedeux.bsky.social · 04/12/2024I knew progressives were "anti-Zionist", I just didn't realize until this year that they had no idea what Zionism is. 000
FakeKraid @fakekraid.bsky.social · 30/11/2024I'm not gonna mince words, liberals are *worse* than reactionaries on this account. They will literally parrot whatever their designated thinkers tell them to and pretend that they always thought it, to a degree that would be unacceptable in fiction because it would strain belief 100
Jason Ide @jasonide.bsky.social · 30/11/2024Absolutely. The number of left folks after the election going "omg Elon used starlink to fake the results" like dude you sound exactly like the "dominion voting machines!!" ppl in 2020 110
River Odder @riverodder.bsky.social · 30/11/2024What kind of disinfo are you talking about? I try to keep a wide range of incoming information so I can cross check. 020
Kelly is a dirty rotten socialist 🌹 @sfnativeboy.bsky.social · 29/11/2024It's a problem as old as the hills; no one is immune to deceptive information. Not a single person is immune. Fact-checking has become more crucial now than ever before, despite the internet's provision of access to all the data one could want 1201
Less raycist @tooliberal.bsky.social · 29/11/2024Democrats needed a serious election autopsy after 2016 the same as republicans after 2012 but controlled media said it was unnecessary Demographics also helped Rs shed their Hannity problem while viewers aged out and Ds @maddow.bsky.social problem will be with them for at least one more cycle 🤷♂️ 010
Juke Slytalker @blackskyeddie.blacksky.app · 29/11/2024I agree, but I think this is the wrong angle to discuss the problem with misinfo. The problem isn't that some believe it (unavoidable) but rather when people in positions of authority promote misinfo (avoidable and fixable). And that's how we need to focus our attacks, in general. 170
Bob’s Your Uncle @bobsyouruncle.bsky.social · 30/11/2024Not immune of course but it’s not even close. The right believes in way way way more of this junk 000
Jennifer (she/her/mom)🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ally🇺🇦🇰🇼 @sillynut.bsky.social · 29/11/2024I take issue with this. I believe I am less susceptible to misinformation because I don't trust anything. I verify stories and things I hear because that is how I am wired. I am a stickler for identifying bias, so I know if any emotional manipulation may be going on. Your statement is too broad. 030
Ne'er Do Well @imaneerdowell.bsky.social · 01/12/2024No what we learned over the last year is that the "Left" are too far right and to willing to cut certain populations out and sacrifice them. Namely Arabs, Muslims, Palestinians, and Trans people. They were deemed sacrifices for the agenda. It wasn't misinformation it was turning on the base. 100
E. Jean Carroll Stan @coigue.bsky.social · 29/11/2024I have definitely been humbled into realizing I am not immune 000
Bart Stratton @bartfree.bsky.social · 30/11/2024Do you have specific examples that were “left” only? Can you define “left”? What specific set of policies defines left to you? 000
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington 🇺🇸 @truthnow.bsky.social · 01/12/2024First, let’s solve the ginormous mountain of right wing misinformation and then we can take a look at the mole hill of left wing misinformation. The former, not the latter, lost the Dems the election. 000
Yinlock @yinlock.bsky.social · 30/11/2024i don't think anyone was under the impression that liberals were immune to propaganda 000
Gregor @ayefootball.bsky.social · 30/11/2024What it has taught me is that a whole lot of people not only believe misinformation, they can't see the truth that Trump is a rapist. If you are ever in doubt about the truth, try muscle testing, aka Kinesiology. Works every time. 010
The US Government @theusgovernment.bsky.social · 30/11/2024Our guy from the Department of Misinformation needs a raise 010
MJ @followtruth.bsky.social · 29/11/2024Will be harder and harder to get good information soon. I do believe elect will ghost the press like he did at the end of his last term- speaking “his truth-lol” through his media site. We are really in for it I’m afraid. 000
