Former President Jimmy Carter was a wonderful person. A lady walked into a restaurant where he and his family were eating. There wasn’t anymore tables. The lady was going to leave. Jimmy Carter invited her to sit down at their table to eat and she did.

My sister was on a plane to Estonia about 12 years ago. Jimmy Carter got on. He proceeded down the aisle & shook everybody’s hand who allowed him too. What a kind & good man.

Remembering as a child when we lived at Peachtree Towers, and a man with his daughter along was shaking everyone's hands in the lobby, "I'm Jimmy Carter, and I'm asking for your vote"; people were laughing, my parents didn't laugh, they joined his campaign! He was a wonderful man. 🙏 RIP

40+ years ago I did the same with a different twist. I was at a pub/restaurant sitting at the last available (longer than usual) table when a group of people arrived looking for seats. I welcomed them to sit 😁 I never paid for another drink the rest of the night. Wasn’t my intention, good times! 😂

I met Carter once in the mid 00s , a Tornado hit a town in GA I drove a truck load of emergency supplies from my church there As the truck was being unloaded. I took a cooler of water to the people cleaning up the roads One older guy look familiar It was Jimmy Carter .

I heard a man was once walking down street without underwear and Carter offered his own used undies to this individual. This act of kindness is what made Carter special even if undies were slightly soiled.
