SKI MOUNTAINEERING IS HERE! The first new Winter Olympic sport since 1998! —first you gotta ski up a mountain —then you gotta run up a staircase —then you gotta ski down a mountain (not pictured, looks like other sports tbh) It looks miserable! I love it!

of course the best part is when everybody gets to the top of the mountain, rips the grippy strips off the bottom of their skis that allow them to go uphill, and tuck them into a big pouch, while the clock is running

This is a bullshit sport. Skiing means two things: boards on your feet, and down. (Cross country is also bullshit, but it’s old and they didn’t know as many things back then, so it can still be in the Olympics. There’s other old bullshit in the Olympics, like horse dancing.)
