also foreign country buys $1 million in soybeans, they get soybeans foreign country spends $1 million on American college tuition, those students live here, spend money here, their research benefits American institutions, they leave with a positive view of America, etc. it's hugely valuable for us!

I know we are just dumb sports fans, but my understanding is that students aren't on H-1B visas anyways. They are on F-1 , J-1 or M-1, right?

H-1Bs are students paying tuition, they are employees with degrees given visas if the employer can’t find someone in the US to do a specialized job

Foreign student tuition subsidizes all other students' attendance too. It's like out of state tuition doing the same for in-state students.

I think the real question is, why hasn’t the governor in Texas done the same? Is he scared of the woke agenda? Is he secretly deep state and plotting with the liberals to bring in illegal immigrants? Why is he refusing to make America great again?
