Rodger Sherman @rodger.bsky.social · 27/01/2025The funniest go-to expert in sports broadcasting is CBS occasionally throwing it to Jay Feely before a field goal so he can say “yeah this guy can make this field goal” 2099427
Rodger Sherman @rodger.bsky.social · 27/01/2025Reflecting on when they threw it to Jay Feely and he was like “well the kicker would have a better chance of making this field goal if they can get 7-8 yards closer” thanks Jay 62436
Rick Honig @rickh2.bsky.social · 27/01/2025Just as informative as the “I just caught up with their coach who said they really need to get the defense off of the field on 3rd downs and on offense, focus on getting more manageable 3rd downs and stop penalizing themselves with mental mistakes. Also more points would help.” 040
Geoff @lewdog16.bsky.social · 27/01/2025Yeah he really doesn’t serve any purpose that the FG target line doesn’t give. It’s kinda impressive that he’s still grifting CBS for money at this point 000
Chars @mercilesspepper.bsky.social · 27/01/2025it would be cooler if he was like "yea if this guy wore clown shoes it might make the kick harder but I think we're all down to see what happens" 000
Patrick @thetimiddonut.bsky.social · 27/01/2025Very happy for Jay to keep taking CBS's money to do this. Inspirational, even. 000
Philip K. Dick Trickle @pkdtrickle.bsky.social · 27/01/2025My life goal is to be a sideline reporter for CBS or FOX so I can narrate things people just saw from multiple angles with their own eyes. For money. 000
dr peppermint patty @jessespector.com · 27/01/2025it would be cool if he could be like “they do not under any circumstances want to kick a 42-yarder, there is a huge puddle of vomit out there from the play on second down” 090
