Canada doesn't have the cultural framework to take on the US because most of its equipment and way of fighting is exactly the same as the US. And 'guerilla war' isn't simply some special forces otherwise the US would have easily won in Afghanistan & Vietnam. Finland tried & lost against the USSR.
