🌊🦈Despia🌈🏝️ @despia.bsky.social · 14/12/2024Thinking about them again 😔KASETTETAPE@kasettetape.bsky.socialI was JUST thinking this today like remember when website owners actually moderated their sites/forums and acted like they owned the place and could just. decide certain behavior wasn't tolerated lol Socmed devs want all the gains and none of the responsibility. 2432671116
🍄Luesia shroom🍄 almost ween! @luesiashroom.bsky.social · 15/12/2024I love this, but if I were to create a social media, I'd implement the "ship up or ship out" rule, if your a dick, recognize that and try to become better, illgive them 3 chances. If they fail all 3 chances, they get booted. It's fair, strict, and gives a chance for growth on the offenders side. 000
Joryho @joryho.bsky.social · 14/12/2024it's funny how people continue to complain about things cohost had troubles with, like getting rid of ALL of the bad actors... when there was only four people on staff at any time I think broken stair policy is a good thing sometimes, especially if it's meant to get rid of assholes! rip cohost 0230
🌊🦈Despia🌈🏝️ @despia.bsky.social · 14/12/2024If you come here to complain about cohost I'm probably going to just mute or block you depending on how dumb whatever you said was ✌ 1611

Sangria Snake @sangriasnake.bsky.social · 14/12/2024I took this to hard in a few of my discord servers. I personally called it the "Rancid Vibes Policy". 040

Bolt Stryker @thundrakion.bsky.social · 14/12/2024I'm sure some people are going to say "that might be why it failed," but not having an app might have been why not enough people used it IMO... 2250
Incapable Hans @whatevil.bsky.social · 15/12/2024Gonna post my own post I made a few days ago on this topic: bsky.app/profile/what...Incapable Hans@whatevil.bsky.socialThe SomethingAwful forums unironically have the best moderation policy on the entire internet and it's due to this: "Crazy Catchall: Please do not try to cleverly circumvent some rule listed here. These rules are general guidelines and are very flexible." 030
sarah zedig 🐐 @hmsnofun.bsky.social · 14/12/2024at least twice a day for the last month i've found myself thinking "man, i wish cohost was still around" place had some problems of its own but holy smokes, by comparison? garden of fucking eden 0291
shishkabitty 🏳️⚧️ @mcoco.bsky.social · 15/12/2024Bsky shoulda hired *Cohost's* head of T&S instead of this Twitter pillock! 000
Maoist Baby @tadd.one · 14/12/2024I got to write the server rules for a discord I am a moderator on, #6 was definitely based on my time on forums 070
🎀#TeamLokiロキ推し @adreameternity.bsky.social · 15/12/2024Forgot I had a Cohost until seeing this post. Shame, I wish I used Cohost instead of all of these (visual) Twitter clones. 030
