Dave - слава Україні #ScrapBrexit #FBPE - NAFO @krimisukrainian.bsky.social · 27/06/2025How much more un-Labour and Labour get? It it some sort of internal competition? 010
Darren and Benny 🙏🌍💚 @mrmoog.bsky.social · 28/06/2025This doesn't help new claimants who are in need of support. It's not good enough. Any decent human being with compassion and understanding would never have touched PIP or anything else to do with vulnerable people in the first place. 100
Rachel Blake @rochyb.bsky.social · 27/06/2025Do we know how many MP signatories of the reasonable adjustments have acquiesced to the government because of this appalling tweak to policy ? 010
Helen @seryndippyt.bsky.social · 27/06/2025Image Text Kim Johnson @KimJohnsonMP “The welfare bill next week is not a plan for jobs, it's a recipe for destitution. Yesterday's last minute 'concessions' create a two-tier welfare system. Disability benefits will still be cut, new claimants will be hit hard. I cannot and will not support them.” 020
Gary Lane @latentorient.bsky.social · 27/06/2025I believe these things are wrong. However...isnt it best to fight within. Because the time after this Govt which usbon accrash course for. defeat would be bleak for everyone. 100
Andy Mann Footy Fan @amff.bsky.social · 27/06/2025Huge thanks & relief for the concessions already won. But my heart bleeds for new incaps that can endure the endless appeals to then find they now dont even get enough to top up rent allowance to actually rent their home. Disabled Homelessness is going to be the next huge crisis in the UK. 330
pedski.bsky.social @pedski.bsky.social · 28/06/2025Although a Labour Party full of Kim Johnson’s …never gets elected. (2017, 19) Tories have indicated they would have gone much further. So, I would also say thank you to Keir for getting a Labour Government in the first place. 👏 000
azlarryan.bsky.social @azlarryan.bsky.social · 27/06/2025There better be many like her, I'm bloody disgusted by this whole charade and don't trust a single word from Starmer or Kendall. This bill passes, I'm never voting Labour again. I have a severely disabled niece, why should PIP be even harder for her to get than me? Just because she is still a child. 2131
Greg @gerrrg.bsky.social · 27/06/2025Tend to agree. How is it fair not to take away from existing claimants, but to deny future ones, and what does that say about the integrity of the MPs this amendment seems to have placated? Seems very snidey to me. 150
gwb645.bsky.social @gwb645.bsky.social · 27/06/2025compassionate societies understand people need decent food, water and shelter to perform optimally; cruel nations argue people need to work long and hard to earn the right to eat, drink and sleep; 071
Felix O'Kelly @callidusdominus.bsky.social · 27/06/2025Kim Johnson is the one saying it like it is. Keir Starmer's attempt at welfare reform is disgraceful, just throwing more people into poverty under the pretext of being responsible. Good on the Labour MPs who are stopping it!media.tenor.coma stop sign that is red and whiteALT: a stop sign that is red and white 000
cmdrchris.bsky.social @cmdrchris.bsky.social · 27/06/2025I thought that with Labour getting in their welfare reforms would be to make it more compassionate. Not actively cruel. 061
Philip Taylor @philipjtaylor.bsky.social · 27/06/2025bsky.app/profile/phil...Philip Taylor@philipjtaylor.bsky.socialNot a concession to anyone becomes disabled. Its not as if its a lifestyle choice! 000
BethU @beth-u.bsky.social · 27/06/2025No for those who need it now and No for those who need it in the future. Who, in their right mind, would think this was a good idea? 010
Johnny Electriglide @moguitar1.bsky.social · 27/06/2025I've already been screwed out of being able to message doctors on side effects, because I have no cell service in the high up mountains. A real combat disabled handicapped decorated veteran and I get treated like this. 010
James Murphy @murphy-jm.bsky.social · 27/06/2025Existing PIP recipients have their claims reviewed 1 year before the award period finishes. Do we know whether future reviews would use the original points criteria, or the revised criteria to be introduced for new claimants? Either way, the Bill remains unfair mess! 030
@nickybshaw @nickybshaw.bsky.social · 27/06/2025There is a dynamic missing in transition to better health and working with rapid evolution of meds. Some curing long thought incurable immune and improving chronic disease. Fewer will need disability support by NOT being written off by employers in the first place. Delicate balance. #PIP #ESA #UC 000
David Emm @emm-david.bsky.social · 27/06/2025it will only be two-tier until existing claimants’ next review. creeping deprivation! 140
Bjørn (No ALT? No RP) @sarcasticsmall.eurosky.social · 27/06/2025The apparently consistent lack of ALT in Peter's images and memes can be seen as contradictory to the Campaign of Social Justice Mission Statement. Especially the "all-encompassing and all-inclusive" part. I might be wrong. 110
"Seamus O'Reilly" 🇺🇦🇬🇧🇮🇪🇦🇺🇬🇱 @jimbobuk.bsky.social · 27/06/2025It's unsurprising. Ms. Johnson is mp for kirkdale and it's one of the poorest areas of Liverpool if not the north. My son lives there as it's affordable. But it's a genuine community but doing it tough 010
