Sarah Chambers @sarahpolo10.bsky.social · 31/07/2026Luxon’s latest jibes at small business owners that we need to be “adults” about our businesses & radically retool etc. How do you find 300 extra kids a term we lost when they have moved out of your area & can’t afford your product with all the job losses in our region? What money bro? 1514635 146

Koraunui Pakeha @koraunuipakeha.bsky.social · 01/08/2026My cousin, who has many reckons, hit this nail on the head; National hates people who work for a living, and small business owners work in their businesses. They are no friend to small businesses. 190 9
Cam Bennett @cambennett.bsky.social · 31/07/2026He has no idea what it’s like to risk his own money. He’s never had the survival of a business rest on his shoulders. This is pure ignorance from him. 2324 32
Algeria Worblebot @algeriaworblebot.bsky.social · 01/08/2026Seems like it's as insulting as budget advisor recommendations to a person who's been skipping meals so their kids could eat. 160 6
Tony from Welly @tonywelly.bsky.social · 31/07/2026The PM that has money and has had a silver spoon telling others how to run their businesses. 0150 15
Tony from Welly @tonywelly.bsky.social · 31/07/2026Sarah is there a way that "other families" can sponsor families that cannot afford to go to your classes? I know its not right that this happens but neither is families struggling to put food on their plates and cant afford to keep their kids safe by taking up swimming lessons. ❤️ 190 9
Nat Torkington @gnat.bsky.social · 01/08/2026"Government has a plan". To build roads. Business need customers with money to spend. Replacing staff with overseas AI companies might help a business in the short-term (might!) but it doesn't break the negative spiral. I don't think businesses want a handout, they want effective economic policy. 040 4
Ryan CrawCour @ryan.crawcour.social · 02/08/2026You've just got to be an adult and disrupt the market. Shake things up a bit. I mean, are you even trying? 020 2
Matt @matteastnz.bsky.social · 01/08/2026As he’s told us many times. He’s wealthy and sorted, so apparently that makes him the adult, and the rest of us children. In other words, he doesn’t care…he just wants his title upgrade, then he will be on his way. 150 5
D Jukic She/her @dejanajuk.bsky.social · 01/08/2026Luxon’s been a figurehead in a Corp that was already operating, govt backed and customers had few other choices, where other people made decisions and/or did the work, he’s never started or maintained a business. He’s such an ignorant jerk. 1221 22
Jillian @jillianm.bsky.social · 01/08/2026He waffles on as though he has built a business from the ground up. He would not last a day running a small business. 091 9
miravox @miravox.bsky.social · 01/08/2026Luxon has *never* supported small business. He prefers to support corporations - all the better if they're international. Maybe kiddicorp will buy up swim schools to go with their early learning 'charities'. That'll make him happy. 150 5
Dave @dpdiver.bsky.social · 31/07/2026He’s never run a small business, or started a business. His experience as a mediocre middle manager, CEO of a government funded company, and life experience as a person without a scrap of empathy makes him totally unqualified to have an opinion on what small business needs to do 1234 23
