Hey there, #ncpol! My name is Paul Barringer. I'm a husband, father, lawyer, and Lee County native. I've taught Sunday school for the last twenty years, I'm a big fan of fried chicken and lentils, and today, I'm announcing I'm running as a Democrat for Congress in NC's 13th District! I’m running for Congress because, honestly, we need different representation. Maybe like you, I’ve been dismayed by current events the last few months—and I think we need a different, better direction for our country. All our current rep offers is more of the same. #ncpol I believe in practical solutions, fiscal responsibility, local control, and common-sense health & justice reforms. And I believe in an independent Congress that is willing to make laws, control the purse, and oversee the executive and judicial branches of government. #ncpol
