Hey there, #ncpol! My name is Paul Barringer. I'm a husband, father, lawyer, and Lee County native. I've taught Sunday school for the last twenty years, I'm a big fan of fried chicken and lentils, and today, I'm announcing I'm running as a Democrat for Congress in NC's 13th District!

Paul Barringer for US Congress District 13. Common sense. North Carolina values.

Way to go! That’s a really tough gerrymandered district. I’ll definitely send you a contribution in the next few weeks.

Could you explain the Johnston County sample ballots for me? As you only appear on one of the samples of the 4 districts, while Brad Knott and Sharma are on all 4 sample ballots

I’m running for Congress because, honestly, we need different representation. Maybe like you, I’ve been dismayed by current events the last few months—and I think we need a different, better direction for our country. All our current rep offers is more of the same. #ncpol
