"Brain and brain, what is brain?" OTD 1968, the premiere of the VERY classic Star Trek episode "Spock's Brain." Some call it the worst episode of The Original Series while others consider it a so-bad-it's-good favorite, and everyone remembers it. What's your take?

A good idea but poorly executed !

IMO it's definitely not the worst. In my book "The Children Shall Lead" or "Miri" hold that crown. I like it. It makes me laugh, especially the ridiculous clicking sound effects when brainless Spock walks 😂

It was more interesting than some of the other ones. I personally liked it. Brain? What is brain?

Terrible episode! But it focused on Leonard Nimoy and that is the only thing that saved it. I'm a huge Leonard Nimoy fan.

Cool episode. “I knew it, I shouldn’t have reconnected his mouth.”

And immortalised in the Semisonic song Never You Mind 🤣 Saturday night, Mr Spock is on the table, Dr Mccoy is unable to connect his brain, he's sweating and straining, well it seemed so simple at the time!

Much of the old sci-fi is 'campy' today. But I find this episode very memorable, and it seems we are a bit closer to this reality than 60 years ago. Sometimes fiction can predict innovation of the future. Was Spock the first cylon?

It was an interesting concept that was not handled well. Honestly the most interesting stuff happens in the last five to ten minutes.

Not a bad episode. Some great scenes for the supporting cast. A good concept with some poor execution and a lot of TOS has those elements. A bad episode, the wost in my opinion, is “The Alternative Factor”.

Dated, funny. Bad, but not the worst. For me, it's Hippies-in-space. It has a place in the long history of television episodes where the hippy movement was misunderstood.
