Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan @london.gov.uk · 08/09/2026Three years on from the ULEZ expansion, the evidence is clear: cleaner air, healthier children, fewer lives cut short. 35893217

B's Tees @brucebee18.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Fingers crossed for four more years 🤞 ... I just discovered the election isn't until 2028! In that case please just keep doing what you're doing, and with any luck these new "goggles" will enable the detection and sanction of the majority of "ghost plates" users! 021

Stephen Nash @stephennash1.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Don't laugh but I'm a direct byproduct of the London Smog in 1952 - mum couldn't get home for dad's birthday !!! CELEBRATION I worked in London in the late 60s it was awful Now I'm amazed at the air quality Some might say it should have been brought in 75 year's ago lol 100
elimuann.bsky.social @elimuann.bsky.social · 08/09/2026So the ULEZ has achieved what all of the evidence suggested it would. 👏👏👏 No doubt the opposition will find something else to lie about with the intention of rage bait their supporters ready for the next election. 🤨 011
Ilikecaketoo (UK) @ilikecaketoo.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Meanwhile, Cleverly is campaigning about scrapping it. Rumour is he’ll move onto seatbelts next… 😆 170
Bromanuel Chadcron @bevrijdingspiegel.bsky.social · 08/09/2026It was a significant achievement. Hopefully in the future the ULEZ and congestion zone can have stricter conditions along with more public transport and pedestrianisation expanded. Bringing more reduced emissions and space for Londoners to hang out and play. 0121
Richard Lewis @cyclisethecity.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Amazing work Sadiq. I lived in Ldn for 17 years but only properly notice the difference since I moved out. That’s the thing about incremental change. I visit and cycle everywhere. The difference is incredible to witness. Safer, calmer, less polluted, and less congested. Positive change is possible! 081
Andrew Rait @andrewrait.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Well deserved congratulations Mayor, especially considering the opposition you faced. For anyone who hasn't read this I urge you too 👇 Well expressed & a touchingly personal account with the issues 🙏 062
Sturgella Nurbongler @strontium90.bsky.social · 08/09/2026I don't understand how the mayor manages to be so non-vindictive. I'd say: "Look at this you fucking moronic Reform 'bladerunner' vandals. Do you want children's lungs to be damaged?" 021

Alison Flower @aliflower-63.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Well done, Sadiq, what's not to like there. After all the grief and abuse you had, you've been vindicated. I didn't understand the opposition, most vehicles would have been compliant anyway. 000

Nick Moyes (Peat free) @nickmoyes.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Took my 13 year old MPV to Heathrow and wondered if I'd be hit with a ULEZ charge. Checked online: Nope, I was fine. So are most drivers, I'd suspect. Great that children are too. 000
