Lazerus @lazerus101.bsky.social · 07/08/2024I was always in both places but posted to the other place more I guess due to familiarity than anything. Finally decided inam done with it. Better late than never 040 4

Animystic 🎑 @animystic.net · 07/08/2024Also: One of Bluesky's greatest strengths is its Feeds. You are not locked into a single, unknowable algorithm. Follow different Feeds and flip between them. Make your own using SkyFeed, even! Here are some that I use often: - OnlyPosts - Mutuals - Popular with Friends - Catch Up - Quiet Posters 1316 31
Peoria Bummer @peoriabummer.bsky.social · 17/10/2024Valuable tip to build up your follow list: do a search for “starter pack” and find some related to your interests. 020 2

Socky Noob @sockynoob.bsky.social · 07/08/2024I feel like at this point if an artist continues to post on Twitter and refuses to join here or anywhere else, they're complacent and supportive of what Musk does. 3330 33
Spooky Stardust Legacy @stardustlegacy.bsky.social · 07/08/2024Along with don’t quote dunk, I would encourage people not to repost or link offensive content from Twitter over here. It just pollutes the water. If I want to see ignorant garbage, I’ll go there and see it. 080 8

Kevin Minh || making vidya 🔮 @kevinmonitor.bsky.social · 17/10/2024appreciate this post but completely disagree on the "seeing twice as many interactions with 10% the followers" bit lol. not sure where you're getting these numbers from but neither I nor many many artists I know are getting one tenth of the interactions we used to have 000 0

GamingFan1997 @gamingfan1997.bsky.social · 17/10/2024I wish I found out about that "post 5 to 10 times before following anyone" suggestion earlier. Granted, so far the people I've been following here have almost entirely been carryovers from Twitter. 010 1

Pete 🔜 Abbey Road Studios @petephin.eu · 08/08/2024I use Sky Follower Bridge every once in a while as people migrate from there to here, and it has improved a lot since last time I used it a few months ago. In contrast, Twitter is becoming horrible to use especially without the Control Panel. How can people even navigate there? 010 1

Poixyn 🧪🦇 @poixyn.bsky.social · 17/10/2024i cant seem to find the reply filters, but maybe it has to do with them changing the names of some of the settings like "home feed preferences" is now "following feed preferences" 110 1
