The very clear message is that the BLS head will be fired if they do not produce numbers that meet Trump's approval. In related news, these are the last set of BLS job numbers we can assume have not been doctored.

CPI and PPI data (which also comes from the BLS) will be equally suspect, as will any economic growth (GDP) data which is calculated by the BEA - part of the U.S. Department of Commerce. From a data integrity perspective, the U.S. is now officially untethered!
