Call me crazy but I'm convinced some of the software I'm using is hiding common tasks just to get me to enable it's AI help. I just tried to do something in Google Console that I've done dozens of times, and I can't figure out how to do it. But that Gemini link is right there. Beckoning.

Th back opens but the movement is covered by an another gold cover. The glass on the front also opens. There are some scratched etchings Inside the cover from previous service/repair. Apparently that’s what they did.

Back from being serviced, the pocket watch owned by my grandfather Richard Dalton. We think it's over 100 years old. Still ticking. and keeping time. I believe he was presented with it for playing Gaelic Football. It came with a medal, which we also have.

I’m heading to Belfast later in the month for the snooker. I didn’t bother last year. One little thing that annoys me is they sell commentary radios but change the frequency for different events so old radios won’t work. Just greed that affects regular patrons.

Not only is it not “aware” it doesn’t even know what you asked it 5 seconds ago unless you supply it with a full transcript to reread from scratch every time. It’s an entirely stateless program that makes text. It’s advanced madlibs. It’s no more “aware” than a dice or a roulette wheel.
