Northwestern's top two guys combined for 35 carries for 350 yards. Love some clean statistics

I was so focused on the thriller in Blacksburg that I didn't even notice until a minute ago that Northwestern was throughly handling Penn State

Lost the game, but will get a few columns written about how seriously they take their culture. Congrats to Art II

Something about the feeding shelter cats to wolves tweet but it's the Steelers trading good players they drafted in the second round to the Cowboys

There's the old saying that if you have two QBs, you don't have any. The Texans seem to be demonstrating that the idea extends to two starting groups of offensive linemen.

Just realized I was following someone just because I knew who they were from years and years ago, but I often find their work inaccurate and CONSTANTLY find them smug, so why am I even doing that?

How are the Texans so bad at building an offensive line? Are they that bad at coaching, finding combinations of players, talent evaluation, all of the above? Definitely at least the last one, considering they traded out of the Kyle Hamilton pick so they could draft the worst guard in the league.

Really feels like they are on a mission to save jobs here rather than worry about the long-term health of the franchise quarterback

Lotta football to be played, but part of me already feels like we know in some order that these are the ten best teams, and they, the Big 12 champ, and top Group of 6 team will be the playoff bracket.

He’s 38 now and hasn’t played in the NFL in 10 years. Goodell and the owners ran out the clock on his career, which almost certainly was the rotten plan from the beginning.

So sharp from Chris Olave. Saints know the nickel is coming. Olave peaks the S coming down, assumes the CB is going to have to bail deep to replace him, uses the vacated sideline space to make a play on third down. Outstanding play.

Davante Adams had the kind of developmental arc you never see anymore. First Pro Bowl in year 4, first 1,000 yard season in year 5, first AP1 in year 7. That's like the Cris Carter arc. Nowadays so many WRs pop off immediately, or by year 2. Almost never even see it take until year 3 anymore.

Awesome sequence when you have a QB who can run and a super quick WR you traded a first-plus for to go two runs to your plodder and then a tricky run to your plodder
