You should just be able to find your little niche in the world & stay there comfortably if it’s what makes you happy. That’s literally all being human is about. Just hanging out and doing something helpful. We made up all this other shit and it’s making everyone miserable, bc there’s no finish line.

Another video I put together was posted! Pretty proud of this one. Had a lot of fun hanging out with friends while getting into the nitty-gritty of GTA Online again. youtu.be/f4bb2Fl2z8I?...

Well… it’s done. Time to give VR another go. Hope I don’t regret this purchase, but hey, I really liked all the recent Steam Hardware so far.

Even though the Halo franchise has been gutted for failing to meet unrealistic expectations, at least Bungie, the original creators of Halo, have also been separately gutted for failing to meet unrealistic expectations

The 1-2 punch of Bungie’s message about Destiny yesterday, and the layoffs happening at Halo Studios leading to Activision making the next game is absolutely wild It’s crazy to compare where Bungie and Halo were at when I was a teen, to where they are now I hope the devs land on their feet quick

Well, I guess I won the reservation list lottery for the Steam Frame. Do I dare?

I guess the loss of physical media also means the loss of me being OCD about this shit But seriously, Konami, did you never look at MGS collections together?

Logan Fontana @zomglogan.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

2 years in a row Konami has released a Metal Gear game on my birthday Got to love it

Logan Fontana @zomglogan.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Man, I’d pick up Elden Ring on the Switch 2 if it wasn’t $80, or if it actually shipped on cart. Can’t justify double dipping at that price for a game key card Glad they got the port in a stable place though!

Well, I finally invested in a RetroTink

Seems silly now, but man did these install screens throughout the story make the game feel absolutely huge when it came out. Also kinda worked for pacing. It was like an intermission after a big narrative moment. Grab a snack and process what you just saw.

Well, I guess I’m not getting a session in of The Duskbloods before work today

This is a nightmare for my wife, who is doing a living dex for each gen, and putting them into HOME. She has gen 1-6 completed, only 7 to go, but that’s a big one

In my restless dreams, I saw that film. Return to Silent Hill. You promised me you’d adapt it properly, but you never did. Well, I’m watching this essay now, about our ‘special game,’ waiting for you… [to also watch it]

Real talk, what’s the point of getting excited for a Xbox game, when they are willing to show you a trailer and then close the studio days later? I should be excited for all this Fallout news. I don’t feel anything. Shame since New Vegas is a top 3 of all time for me.

Tried out a bunch of games last weekend for a few hours! Vampire Crawlers is addictive and a great way to kill some time in short sessions Doom The Dark Ages seems neat, but hasn’t grabbed me like 2016 did. The Black Flag remake looks and plays great though I don’t know if I’m in an Ubisoft mood

1st Run of Vampire Crawlers: I don’t know, this seems pretty brain dead and boring 2nd Run of Vampire Crawlers with a new character

I think if you needed any more evidence that the cuts are shortsighted and focused on cutting as deep and as fast as possible with little regard for the future, this is pretty definitive. That engine felt like magic in some spots. A colossal waste of talent and resources.

The last week has been crazy for me. My internet was busted from Friday evening to Monday morning, I got sick and still am, I edited a video, and my cat Jonesy got sick and had to have 11 teeth pulled ($2500 vet bill, not that I’m complaining, I’m glad she is recovering) I need a (cheap) vacation.

Man, the only thing holding me to Windows is Adobe Premiere. Wish they made a native Linux version of it. Genuinely considering switching everything over, and figuring out the adobe stuff. Of course, I’d still need some sort of Windows install for games that don’t work with Proton… bleh
