yup. we had a dollar theater, and the good indies would sometimes come to that, but you HAD to go the week of cause they were gone again the next week. buuuut...Bush recession took that theater out.

there was period there from 2014 to 2020 where venues would sooner spit on you then provide 5 bucks for gas money home. So grateful the scene(s) have been moving away from that.

climate change is a rubber band effect, extreme in one direction, goes back the other way, but it stays warm. it has been warm for over a decade now till nov/dec. i remember snow didn't fall till after xmas last year. i would love to have more colder Fall, but i don't think they will exist anymore
