Artists feel pressured to make new art too quickly at the moment. Normalise artists fucking disappearing for months. Just walk off into the woods for a year and come back with a single sketch. It’s good for you

i thought you know what, i'd gotten a healthy chuckle out of one of the players joking about Essek wearing glass slippers under his cloak back in c2, so i might as well create something out of that. so i did. happy belated valentine's day friends #shadowgast

an erotic digital painting featuring two characters from Critical Role, Essek and Caleb. Essek is depicted as a slender lavender-skinned drow with pinned back shoulder-length wavy white hair, while Caleb is a light-skinned human with auburn hair that doesn't quite reach his shoulders, is slightly messy and swept back.

the camera is looking down at the couple, Essek sitting on the edge of the bed and leaning back on one arm, and Caleb on his knees in front of him. Essek is almost entirely naked; there is a necklace with an eye-shaped pendant resting between his small breasts and a long chocolate brown silk robe that is pooling behind and around him, having slipped off his shoulders and covering only his forearms. he is wearing glossy, almost transparent glass slippers on his feet; one of his feet is on the ground between Caleb's outer thigh and hand, while the other is resting comfortably on Caleb's shoulder, the knee bent and drawn upwards.

Caleb's face is turned entirely away from the camera, the direction of his gaze parallel with the viewer's. he is sitting placidly in front of Essek; his wide thin back with prominent shoulder blades and dense freckles is slightly bent, one of his hands hovering close to the ankle of the foot Essek has on his shoulder. his facial expression is not visible, but Essek is watching him with hooded eyes and a slightly crooked, pleased smile, with a deep dimple in one of his cheeks.

the painting employs a limited palette of rich browns and wine reds, and the couple is lit with a cooler blue glow from one side, and a warmer red from the other.

you might remember a rather racy painting i did of Caleb helping Essek into a fancy outfit, as well as it inspiring @luddleston.bsky.social to write an even racier fic, which prompted me to illustrate it. guess what, the fancy wizards saga is not over 😎 link to ludd's fic in replies! #shadowgast

commission for @eldritchmochi, an illustration of a very steamy scene from his fic 'coping skills'! 😏 (link in replies!) this picture was a very fun challenge for me from the point of view of posing, and y'all know me. always happy to draw ropes 💜 thank you for commissioning me! #shadowgast

a digital lineart piece featuring Caleb and Essek from critical role. Essek is naked save for plain boxer-briefs, lying on his back with each of his forearms tied to the respective upper arm, with the elbows pointing up and the palms resting right next to his head on the pillow. he is blindfolded with a satiny sleeping mask, and is pressing his face into one of his raised arms. his legs are also tied, with his walking cane used as an improvised spreader bar, tucked in the fold between the calves and the back of his thighs. Caleb, dressed in a simple t-shirt that is slightly too big for him, is sitting on his haunches between Essek's spread thighs. he is pushing Essek's legs down closer to his stomach with his left hand on the back of Essek's thigh, while in his right hand he is holding a lit pillar candle, dripping melted wax onto Essek's chest with an expression of awe and reverence on his face.

hey shadowgasts 🫶 i was reminded of this piece today. please enjoy it on bsky as well #shadowgast #criticalrole #criticalrolefanart #myart

A digital painting of two men in an intimate moment. One man, Essek, is kneeling and has his face pressed to the belly of the other, Caleb. Essek is looking down, anticipatory, into the unbelted trousers of his partner. Only Caleb's scarred torso is visible, but his hand is firmly-yet-gently cupping the back of Essek's head. There are tattoos on Caleb's arm, indicating this is an alternate, evil timeline where he did not renounce being a Scourger. This scene looks like it is mere moments before Essek eagerly bumps up the content warning on this picture from "suggestive" to "porn."

you've probably seen me ramble about my hc that drow have dark purple/black blood, and i love that hc so much that i always wanted to incorporate it into my art somehow. and well. naturally you gotta do that by turning towards some trusted wizard tropes and letting Essek show some tongue #shadowgast

crossposting the latest tender wizard activities from tumblr! absolutely putting this into the shadowgast feed with this tag -> #shadowgast

digital sketch of Essek and Caleb from critical role. they're both shirtless, with Caleb wearing only simple drawstring pants, and Essek fitted high-waisted trousers and a large intricate ear cuff. Caleb has his arms tied in a box tie behind his back, his posture relaxed and his eyes closed; Essek is standing behind him, leaning forward to place a soft kiss between Caleb's shoulder blades. one of Essek's arms (the one that's farther away from the viewer) is reaching around Caleb, fingers gently wrapping around Caleb's chin; his other hand is down, and he's slipping two of his fingers into one of Caleb's fists to check for nerve compression; Caleb is squeezing his fingers.
