I know they didn't like him as a pass-blocker last year, and I'm guessing they don't like him in that role this year either, given his low involvement. He's not even that good between the tackles, so...there's a lot of reason to fade him.

I think that is what it came down to. They needed a Rachaad White. Just wild to me that they don't have a player like that on the roster who could maybe be with them all year and fill that role in a pinch. Gotta go get the old guy returning from injury who missed all of the offseason.

Commanders GM Adam Peters and the coaching staff should be semi-embarrassed about their roster, that they could sign Austin Ekeler (coming off an Achilles) a week ago and immediately put him on the field for 17 offensive snaps over guys who have been on the team since the spring.

Yeah, that was a lot of how we approached things but obviously in the case of guys like Tua/Kirk, we still had to make sure we had warm bodies for a few weeks while our other guys waited for their chance. Have a few Jameis teams but now my worry is he’s playing too early lol.

IIRC our original plan based on ADP was to do Mendoza as our QB1 if he was there. But yeah, he went way earlier than expected which is what led to Tua. RBs definitely thinner than we’d like with Jacobs out but this team has found a way!

Lol, it might've worked! Shawn and I did some builds like this last year, and they were a lot of fun. Zero RB, but QB. This was definitely one of my more extreme ones, but my buddy and I, who drafted it, wanted to push things as far as we could and see what happened.

My average ADP at QB in this draft is 162.4, whereas the other teams' average ADP at QB is 51.7, with two QBs taken 2nd and 26th overall. Far too early to say if this team has legs, but it has three QBs going this week after having only one (Cousins) under center in Weeks 1 & 2.
