There are few games where I will read every lore document I find throughout the environment. Control was one of them. Control Resonant is now another.

People will still loudly cheer him on, so it doesn't seem to matter much how much he shits on them or where they live.

I apologize for slacking on the website lately. My mind has obviously been elsewhere if you read any of my previous messages here. It's taken a heavy mental toll on me. A very heavy toll.

There's no feeling quite like having someone you've been romantically interested in ghost you for over a week after three months of deep, daily conversations... Only to see a video posted a week ago of some wannabe street racer grabbing her inner thigh with the caption "JUST HOLD YOUR GIRL" 😑🔫

Then there are people like this clown with "exclusive" news about how an unreleased game has "flopped." That's certainly one way to interpret what Schreier said... I guess?

A tweet from @iiamcloudman saying:
Exclusive: According to reports #Wolverine flopping is a huge wakeup call for #PlayStation. "Sony spent almost 400 million on Wolverine and after Marvel gets their 30% there's not much meat on the bone. Don't expect another Wolverine, maybe not even X-Men."

001

Shawn Zipay @zips.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I have whiplash from seeing the near total 180 from people from yesterday to today when it comes to that IGN review score for Wolverine. From mass outrage against IGN to near praise for their "accurate" score. Once other outlets had the same complaints and similar scores, the tune suddenly changed.

The Blood of Dawnwalker has really pulled me in. I'm really, really digging the setting, narrative, and music. There's some not so great things here and there (30FPS cutscenes & oversharpening fixed by mods already; stick input jank), but nothing that's going to stop me from continuing to play more.

Press email for a Project Hail Mary mixed reality experience... You know, I don't think they wanted to include the thumbs down 👎emoji for these points.

From a press release for a new Project Hail Mary mixed reality game:

Features:
• 👎 Work alongside Rocky to keep the mission alive.
• 👎 Experience a new, untold chapter of the Hail Mary’s story, created specifically for mixed reality.
• 👎 Diagnose failing systems, and improvise scientific solutions.
• 👎 Manage your ship and its precious cargo as you travel through the stars.
• 👎 Experience humanity’s last hope firsthand.

Seeing those user uploaded comparisons of DLSS5 off vs on and yeah, that all still looks like dogshit 95% of the time. Who could have ever seen that coming besides literally everyone? The last 5% still has issues with destroying color and shadows in the scene. Also they did the #hirefans thing 🤣

Aloy from Horizon under normal conditions as she typically looks in the games.

Aloy from Horizon after DLSS5 slopped her up with AI garbage. She looks older, hair color is vastly different, the scene color is vastly different, and she now has strong makeup on for some stupid reason.

An 86MB update needing upwards of 20 minutes to update because of Unreal Engine's absolute GARBAGE patching system. Have I said lately how much I hate Unreal Engine? Because man, I sure hate Unreal Engine.

An update for Stalker 2 where it's it's going to take another 15 minutes of patching after 34% completion on a download that was only 86MB in size.

Since my internet was down literally the entire day until 40 minutes ago, I had plenty of time to finish The Sinking City 2. I really liked this. There were some absolutely brutal sections though. I still HIGHLY recommend this one. Just understand it plays a lot different from the first game.

Shawn Zipay @zips.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Just read the x-rays in the one room in The Sinking City 2... It didn't take long to realize what I was seeing and reading. I've included just one partial example. Jesus christ... 😔

Various x-rays and descriptions on a couple of boards within a room in The Sinking City 2.

An x-ray of Mykhaylo F. that talks shows two destroyed hands. A description talks about a severe injury resulting in a double amputation of both hands, loss of an eye, and other severe wounds.
It's a real x-ray from a Ukrainian soldier wounded in battle.

Top priority should have been to work on Horizon 3 after the second mainline game shipped and THEN do this "smaller" side project after that shipped. Absolute buffoonery from Sony management for years now.

On a whim, I installed The Sinking City 2 tonight. Don't sleep on this one. It's part Resident Evil remasters and part Dead Space, and obviously part Lovecraft. Started it tonight and next thing I know 3 hours have flown by. Really, really enjoyable so far.
