I’ll be at #NYCC next week in Artist Alley, table A35, with plenty of prints (for sale at an exclusive NYCC price), painted sketches, and books from past projects.

LLMs *ARE* fucking dangerous, but a major stride to their defeat would be stopping calling them "intelligence".

000

Maksim Strelkov @zethkeeper.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

LLMs are not intelligence, whatever techbros are saying. They may mimic the sentient behavior, but objectively they're not. And again, it doesn't make the problem and threat any better.

Maksim Strelkov @zethkeeper.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

You know, in r/Frieren there's often discussions about whether or not demons can be reasoned with. If you read the manga and have critical thinking, you know that they could not. Same is here.

Maksim Strelkov @zethkeeper.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I see it clearly that this is a real and serious existential threat. But I refuse to believe that LLMs are "intelligent" or "sentient". They're just a bunch of fucked-up algorhithms, nothing more.

I'll say it again: people with absurd amounts of money are immune to the law and any non-violent approach. They have so much power they can bend any law and court to their will, so they can keep getting away with their shit.

While commuting back home today, I thought of what Avatar writers haven't (I only watched the shows and recent Aang movie, so maybe it's in other media): earthbenders should be able to bend glass. Wonder if we get that in an upcoming show 🤔

New Exodus album, "Goliath" slaps! As I'm typing this, I'm half-way through, but already it's all I like about Exodus. The title song made me to stank face with my actual face. Usually it happens just in my mind.

2) Interaction with the environment. Why do I have to hold buttons to perform an action? Why not just tap 'em once? Why the animation has to be so long half the time? It's not necessary for the emersion, and I have other things in the game to spend time on.

Things I don't like so far: 1) Jumping is a total joke. Practically useless. Max only can jump over small stones and low fences. I can't reach half the places I want, if not more. It's a game, afterall. Gimme some height!
