Sadly, I would not be surprised if we just stopped letting that happen. Some stupid case somewhere probably said "actually, that doesn't count" and it was never shut down. Which, idk if a lot of people know this, a huge part of the US system is a court decides something and no one shuts it down.

There was definitely an urban myth when I was younger that surviving an execution attempt meant you were like, free to go basically. But that was at a time in the early 2000s when we really thought the death penalty was slowly going the way of the dodo and wasn't going to exist eventually.

I don't have AI manage anything, but Im usually working when my friends do the draft so I let it auto fill my team at the start. then I spend the season scrambling between all the available trash leftover to trade whoever isn't working. I've come in 2nd place twice.

I don't remember how they explain it, but that's definitely the basis for why Ant-Man can't get real big all the time, he can't take in enough oxygen to keep going and I think maybe his blood can't circulate fast enough (? I don't know if I'm making some of that up)

I've been watching Law and Order from the beginning out of nostalgic curiosity and liking mystery shows, and for all of the notable copaganda criticism of this show it's very important (at least in the early years) to recognize just how much the cops fucking suck on this show. Listen, I know the reality is that King is gonna die sitting at a computer typing out his 500th story and he will be happy to do so. But if the last thing he ever published was a trilogy finale co-credited to a friend as a final send-off I think it would be a decent way to call a lifetime.
