#Sony seemingly not content with doing away with physical media and a litany of other nonsense, is now in the process of rolling out the same bullshit "Age Verification" on the #PlayStation store that requires you to submit an ID scan to access their R-rated games in Australia... so far.

Age verification will soon be required to add new Restricted (R 18+) games from the PlayStation Store to your Library.

At Sony Interactive Entertainment, we are committed to creating safe, age-appropriate experiences for players and families while respecting privacy and giving players and parents meaningful control over their gaming experiences.

To comply with local regulations, we recently introduced age verification in Australia.

Soon, you will need to verify your age before you can add a Restricted (R 18+) game from the PlayStation Store to your library. If you do not verify your age, you can still play games already in your library and add games rated below Restricted (R 18+).

Age verification is a one-time check that usually takes just a few minutes. Scan the QR code or click the button below to start the age verification process.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who thought to draw Aussie Miku, but I think your idea of making her a tradie is way funnier and, dare I say, more fitting.
