#Sony seemingly not content with doing away with physical media and a litany of other nonsense, is now in the process of rolling out the same bullshit "Age Verification" on the #PlayStation store that requires you to submit an ID scan to access their R-rated games in Australia... so far.

Age verification will soon be required to add new Restricted (R 18+) games from the PlayStation Store to your Library.

At Sony Interactive Entertainment, we are committed to creating safe, age-appropriate experiences for players and families while respecting privacy and giving players and parents meaningful control over their gaming experiences.

To comply with local regulations, we recently introduced age verification in Australia.

Soon, you will need to verify your age before you can add a Restricted (R 18+) game from the PlayStation Store to your library. If you do not verify your age, you can still play games already in your library and add games rated below Restricted (R 18+).

Age verification is a one-time check that usually takes just a few minutes. Scan the QR code or click the button below to start the age verification process.

Access all PlayStation features by verifying your age. You can verify your age by facial scan, ID or mobile number. Verification methods available may depend on your country or region.

Def Jam: Fight for NY. I like everything about the game except for the gameplay, and that's just because I've never been a fan of "wrestling game" mechanics.

I've always loved your 3D sculpts of the Higurashi crew, both in the OG Ryukishi style and your own. It'd be great to one day get a print of them, the lengthy and arduous process of 3D printing notwithstanding.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who thought to draw Aussie Miku, but I think your idea of making her a tradie is way funnier and, dare I say, more fitting.

Hatsune Miku stands on a beach, cooking sausages on a barbecue. She is dressed in a yellow tank top, blue swimming trunks decorated with the Australian flag, and a brown full-brim hat with corks hanging from it. She has a pair of tongs in her right hand and a can of beer in her left. A kookaburra sits atop her head.

Rin and Len Kagamine can be seen playing cricket in the background.

Hahaha, just kidding! … Unless…? #pmmm #madokamagica #madosaya

Digital illustration of Madoka Kaname and Sayaka Miki from Puella Magi Madoka Magica sitting on the floor, propped up against a bed. Sayaka is playing a video game. Madoka is sitting in front of Sayaka, nearly in her lap, leaning against her and pointing at the screen excitedly.

3-panel silent comic:
Panel 1: Madoka leans back and kisses a surprised Sayaka on the cheek.
Panel 2: Madoka and Sayaka both blush and laugh.
Panel 3: They both pause, ”…” reads above their heads. Madoka smiles at Sayaka with half-lidded eyes, as if expecting something. Sayaka is sweating, her expression now very serious.

Madoka turns around and cups Sayaka’s face with her hands. Sayaka embraces Madoka and they kiss enthusiastically. Probably not with tongue, though. Probably.

Relaunching my retro CG setup as TetraCG: an assortment of nifty nodegroups and render settings to provide an easier entryway into a style that I adore ^^ mega.nz/file/ZidCmLw...

Cover page for TetraCG, a retro computer graphics package for Blender 5.0. It is made up of several negative greyscale 3D renders in the style of 90s CG, laid out like comic panels.

TetraPHONG

A simple, but versatile nodegroup combining diffuse and specular shading with full support for Cycles and EEVEE.

The Cycles version of TetraPhong supports anisotropic highlights for surfaces such as metal, hair or satin, and it also supports full, proper raytracing.

While the EEVEE version lacks these features, it does include an optional coat for screenspace raytracing. Its diffuse and specular components will also render perfectly fine in Cycles.

TetraGEN

A noisy volume nodegroup that aims to replicate PowerAnimator's flashy particles.

Particularly useful for fire, smoke or dust FX. Adjust scale, distortion, frequency and emission accordingly.

Renders in EEVEE and Cycles.

TetraSKY

A world background nodegroup with the express purpose of filling up the void.

Use with an environment texture, or generate a sky with various gradient, cloud and star settings at your disposal.

Disable diffuse and glossy rays in world properties to prevent unintentional ambient lighting (Cycles only).
