It's interesting playing F-Zero in 32:9 aspect ratio because you start noticing the relationship of one part of the track to the others. Also is that the tilemap of the Mode 7 background repeating which wouldn't normally be visible in 4:3 over on the left here?

3 days old, belly full of milk and snoring. Our 6 month old dog is obsessed with her new siblings and being so gentle and sweet, loving on each of them. It's been heartwarming to see.

Saint-Boniface, QC hosting tonight's preseason NHL game between the Ottawa Senators and Montreal Canadiens. Usually playing in the largest arena in hockey, seeing the Habs playing in a 4500 seat tiny arena by comparison is cool. The national anthem sung by 50 or so little kids was so cute.

Been meaning to get through the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters, so started working on IV. Had finished the first 3 during my hospitalization ~2 years ago. I owned FFIV as a teenager and played it a lot back then, not much since. Forgot how much "I'm gonna kill myself for the team!" there was in it.
