Chrono Trigger Form-ism figures of Chrono and Marle get! I bought these so long ago I forgot about ‘em and was shocked I had a box waiting for me when I got home today. lol Anyways, they’re gorgeous! Absolutely perfectly capture Toriyama’s incredible art style. Instant add for my SE shrine shelf.

Welp this might just be my most Unc purchase. I might even be encroaching on Boomer territory here even. 😓 The hype from seeing the movie in theatres last weekend was just too damn strong though, I been thinking about it all week! So yeah, I broke down and bought him when I was shopping. YOLO.

Angel Egg special edition from GKids. Another gorgeous set that lets Yoshitaka Amano’s art shine. One of the most surreal, chilling, yet beautiful anime put to film. Incredible to finally have it back in print after so long. The history of Oshii chasing this bird still fascinates me to this day.

Look Back special edition from GKids. Absolutely gorgeous set for a wonderful handcrafted film about what it truly means to create art. This is still one of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s most raw and personal works and the anime is a perfect adaptation. The Making Of book and faux animation cell are gorgeous.

Saw the Transformers movie today in theatres! Nabbed me the special novelty cup too. It’s pretty straightforward but made of real sturdy plastic, feels nice in the hand. I dunno I’m starting to build a collection of these. Popcorn buckets are too big to collect, so I guess it’s cups for me. lol

With the release of the 2nd Chapter remake I now have every entry of the Trails/Kiseki series that was physically released in North America! It’s a shame we never got The 3rd physically but it’s crazy to think we’re only missing one entry now (I know it’s out digitally). bsky.app/profile/zero...

Today was a very good haul! Went into the city to get my Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave and Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter pre-orders and while I was out I found Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection for half off too! Don’t mind if I do. lol The Forrune’s Weave Collector’s Edition is really pretty. 😙

Mob Psycho 100 haul!!! Couple weeks back I cleared my book shelf for my current obsessions and that lead me to finishing Mob (been buying vols online since). I had the first 6 so I bought everything from vol 7 onwards. Figured I’d take some pics w/ the complete collection though for funsies. lol

@sodapopprinny.bsky.social Duuuude! Holy crap, you called it. I went from full Zelda Doomer to full on child like wonder watching that Direct today. I pre-ordered the game and the amiibos. lol Let us sing the song of our people and celebrate how good it feels to love Zelda. youtu.be/ejxyt5zYdps?...

Got my newest round of Discotek orders! First off as far as I can tell this prob will mark the end of Keroro Gunsou BDs unless Discotek can eventually get the new movie from this year. Crazy to think it took decades but it’s cool we have pretty much everything from this iteration of the series now!

Had a long overdue trip to the local bookstore I like and got more manga earlier today. Just last week I did some reorganizing and made a lot more space on my shelf for manga; so it feels good filling some of that new space up now. lol Keeping up with my favorite series still, DQ and MtG. :)

Got this Detective Conan figure that recreates the scene towards the end of Haibara’s introductory episode where she shocks Conan by revealing that she knows his secret identity and she too was shrunk just like him. One of the all time great episodes, cool to see it recreated as a figure.

Was able to get some DVDs I wanted real bad this weekend. I finally bit the bullet on a copy of Trigun Badlands Rumble to go w/ my Trigun Anime Classics, and I finally settled on getting the original Transformers cartoon + movie to go w/ my Japanese Transformers set I had for like a decade.

Some more Crunchyroll pick-ups I’m securing in case their home video department goes kaput (and RahXephon was super cheap on the Sentai store). Sonny Boy is one I always felt deserved a special ed, it also never went on sale weirdly too; hence me waiting. It’s a downright surrealist masterpiece!

Also ended up getting Ricky Bobby on 4K steelbook too. lol Damn this came out when I was in High School, and fresh off of Anchorman, Will Ferrell felt on top of the world. I still probably quote both of those actually. XD Has it really been 20 years though? Goddamn, it still feels like yesterday.

Some new Arrow Video releases I picked up! Arrow sets continue to be gorgeous to look at — just them using much higher quality amaray cases goes such a long way to making everything they put out feel premium. The included booklets are so gorgeous too, I love flipping through these.

Mega Man Exe statue get! I ah … forgot I even bought this. lol I think I must’ve not been paying attention back then too as this doesn’t even fit on my toy shelf. (it’s huge!!! lol) Won’t be able to go on display w/ my other Mega Man toys. Looks good next to my novelty movie theatre cups though.

Got the M64! I fished out my honest to god childhood cartridges and started revisiting memory lane. lol This is my 1st FPGA console and it’s been an incredible exp. It’s easy to emulate but a genuine product is something else. I plan to do an Ocarina of Time play through on this before the remake!

Huge news Kamaitachi no Yoru is finally getting an English TL. I wrote about what made it so special back when I was doing the whole blogger thing: www.tumblr.com/zerochanges/... Likewise I wrote on sound novels: www.tumblr.com/zerochanges/... And also on 428: www.tumblr.com/zerochanges/...

Leon Kennedy amiibo! It’s always really neat to see amiibos from companies other than Nintendo. Really wish I could get the Pragmata one too, but that was practically impossible to find. Still Leon is pretty cool, glad to add him to the collection.

I got the model of Iris from Mega Man X4 today. My introduction to the Mega Man series were the Xtreme games on the GB where Iris played a role so she has always been a bit of a childhood crush of mine. lol Anyways, it took me nearly all day to assemble but she looks great!

With the Crunchyroll restructuring drama I decided to bite the bullet and picked up some titles I didn’t wanna miss if their entire home video department goes out of biz like some people are theorizing. Was really hoping for a better release for some of these too but it’s been years so whatever.

Easily my biggest order from MediaOCD’s Discotek Deep Dive initiative. I’m not going to lie I was more pissed than hyped for this round of the initiative. lol They put almost every one of my white whales into this one round! I spent way too much! But damn if it isn’t wonderful to have these now. 😌

My haul from the latest Sentai sale. I haven’t bought much from their sales lately but this one had some real big deals I couldn’t pass up on, probably the biggest of which being the $10 Eizouken. :O

Wanted to draw something the day of getting funded, but it looks like I got it finished after the stretch goal, what can you do? I'm whiplashed how things exploded so fast with the Tenchi Galaxy kickstarter, you are all unreal!

group picture of the characters from "Tenchi Muyo!" done in a "chibi style", for lack of a better phrase. Consisting of (left to right) Ayeka, Sasami, Mihoshi, Tenchi, Washu, Ryoko and new character Rissa. With an explosion in the background inferring a mishandling of a matsuri mikoshi thing. It happens.

Yet another order from MediaOCD’s Discotek Deep Dive initiative! The Ronin Warriors set especially broke the bank in this order but it was always pricey so that tracks why I dragged my feet on it so long that it went OOP. lol So glad to finally nab the Virtua Fighter anime at a reasonable price!
