My parents have really taken up being Z’s grandparents. I didn’t really have concerns that they wouldn’t get with the program, but it’s great that they want to be so involved with her. My mom getting soaked in the rain to take Z outside to find caterpillars just really did my heart good.

I was re-reading “Critique of Hegel's Philosophy…” while waiting for J to be free to read the “Disney Adults” book. There’s a lot of Marx’s critique in Wolfe’s assessment as to how Disney has been so successful in capturing and holding tight to their Real Customers: people with disposable income.
