CJ and I went indoor skydiving today, in an anti-gravity tube that is like a giant hand dryer. It was a gift from my mum and it was SO much fun. I felt like I was in a Marvel movie!

They haven’t had an accident or injury or done anything unusual so what is CAUSING the ‘soft tissue damage’ and why does it keep happening? Surely it’s not unreasonable to want to know?

They couldn’t even tell us if we should use ice or heat. Absolutely absurd. And I don’t blame the staff! I blame the chronically undervalued, underfunded, overstretched, understaffed system that’s been left to rot. UK billionaires, HERE IS SOMETHING YOU COULD FIX.

We are incredibly lucky to have private medical cover so now the NHS have washed their hands we can get a referral from the GP to use that and get some answers but it shouldn’t be this way! You shouldn’t be told, ‘Have you tried not having feet?’ when you can’t fucking walk AGAIN.

Had to take CJ to urgent care FOR HOURS today because for the second time in a few months they couldn’t put any weight on their foot. Last time they had an x-ray and were told it was soft tissue damage and there was nothing they could do. Guess what they said today? Yep. Waste of fucking time.

I hope you get to! I’m not sorry I saw it because I got to look at lovely Connor having a terrible time of it for ninety minutes and we’re having a good time ripping it apart on our way home but WOW.

Also there was some really discriminatory language in it that felt totally unnecessary and jarring. I don’t mind bad language in films in general but CJ kept looking at each other in shock.

Good god it was terrible. Connor was good of course. Nothing else about it was. Sorry Connor! At least you got to go to Romania.
