The #Salween as well as the #Mekong River (2 major rivers in Southeast Asia) are now contaminated with arsenic etc likely from mining upstream in #Myanmar. Thai scholars have already deemed this a crisis and many locals are doing the best they can to draw attention to the issue. bit.ly/48hhHEk
