Wild Arms 3 has the ECN gauge, when you get a random encounter an exclamation mark pops up over your head and you can skip the encounter by spending points from the gauge. If you're over levelled, or have boosted your Migrant Level by finding secret seals, the mark is green and it's free to skip!

Post the first game you actually completed! I remember borrowing a family friend's gameboy and sitting in their big armchair and playing this as a kid, didn't own a gameboy or even a PC until a few years later but this was what got me hooked on video games. Took me ages to finish, it's hard!

The Drifter/Operator facial rework in Warframe is 'better' at least from a graphical perspective, especially on the Operator front, but I'm not 100% sold on it (mostly as someone who only uses Drifter). Was definitely needed though, the textures were really showing their age.
