I was fortunate to hear Ron Ghitter speak at the Calgary Interfaith Breakfast earlier this month. He challenged faith and community leaders to speak out against hate and defend the dignity and human rights of people of all faiths and backgrounds. Thank you, Ron.

A big thank you to the firefighters who worked quickly to contain a grass fire in the Nose Creek valley tonight. Seeing the response is a reminder of just how hard it is to access parts of the valley during an emergency, and how much gratitude is owed to our first responders.

I was just at the Calgary Police Summit and there are continued calls from our service members to return the tool of photo radar back into their toolbox. I also heard the call at the doors from the public. Our Council will continue to raise this issue. calgaryherald.com/news/local-n...

Thanks to Water Services for hosting us at Glenmore Water Treatment Plant and Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant. Glenmore (~40% of our water supply) has been integral to our Bearspaw Feeder Main repairs. Bonnybrook serves 600k+ and returns treated water to the Bow River.
