Sometimes the selfhosted organization decides to throw you a priority 2 type incident at you right before bed. Services recovering (via a uncreative work around) but I'm not gonna get a useful answer from the VPS host for such a bizarre issue 🛌.

Okay I wanted to wait until I wrote the blog but god damn it I need to share this. OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) automatically installing routes from the Lab (which is both Cisco and Mikrotik) into the production network automatically 🙂. This is making me very giddy.

New blog soon. Some highlights. - Found another vendor quirk. - Bought a Cisco 2911. - Maddy and I both think it's too loud... fan mod for that soon. - Renewed appreciation for clabretro and Cisco engineers. - The lab is probably the perfect CCNA and CCNP lab (and MTCRE). - Need another room.

Welp... looks like my 3090 has decided to croak and there's some artifacting now. I can make it stop by reducing power limits but this sucks when a 4090 second hand is about 2/3 the price of a 5090 here in NZ... and AMD GPUs do not exist in NZ.
