Today I've released a modern graphics tool I have been working on for a while. hewco.itch.io/imagery The tagline I've given it is "Perfect Pixel Art and Animation" which I think sums it up pretty well.

The model created from the Flag Fen auger survey shows that the basin around the post-alignment has a gentle gradient across its western half, beside a deeper 250-300m wide “valley” across the eastern half. This eastern deeper, wetter zone corresponds to the location of the Flag Fen platform.
The deposit model created during the Flag Fen auger survey, with differing colours indicating the variations in depth across the Flag Fen basin.

We've published new version of Corvus.JsonSchema this week. Not only do we have an ultra-fast standalone #dotnet validator (the fastest on any platform) but we have versions for #TypeScript (and #JavaScript), and #Rust now. Benchmarks: github.com/sourcemeta-r...

Oh! The evidence suggests "for real" given the ubiquity of songwriter credits. But now I'm doubting that assumption!

Unlike most modern artists, Brandon Flowers has solo writing credits on the most played tracks on Spotify (although there are arrangers credited for sessions etc which is normal.)

Who are instead focusing on things like immigration and doing down trans people which will only have a negative impact both literally and in terms of how people feel about "things".

Also, the government spends more as a %age of GDP now than it did at the peak of the Blair administration (according to the ONS). But everyone is worse off for all sorts of reasons. (Almost) none of which have been addressed by UK Gov.

We are stuck in the same kind of mire we were in in the 1970s where everyone just agrees that we can't change anything but we want different results.

I think the answer is "yes". These are things that are going to help teams discover that you have to do the thinking, and the AI will do the doing. Not the other way around.

How I imagine Trump imagines Fairfield. In point of fact it is exactly like this only it says "Fort Fairfield" instead of "Fort Bravo" and the designated dogging area is behind the watch tower.
Playmobil "Fort Bravo" with some civil war era soldiers outside, one on a dappled horse. It flies the stars and stripes.

I have often wondered where "everyone getting together for a big piss up" ends and "ritual" starts. Like the big old hog roasts that preceded the first monuments down Stonehenge way.

This bear has been like this for weeks to my certain knowledge. No life signs.

The Labour Party’s women’s conference on 26/9/26 was an embarrassing farce, with only 200 delegates of the 1,000 normal attendance (no major unions) in protest of the Labour Party’s shameful abandonment of trans people following the legally absurd ruling of the Supreme Court in FWS in April 2025.

I realise that this person who phoned in about the RAF Fairford vans believes that they 'fortuitously' saved the base with their timely intervention. It seems at least as likely that they messed up a security services operation by being unfortunately in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I have no recollection of any of those except Viva Cabaret which tweaked a neuron or two. One trip down the internet rabbit hole later and I find I definitely do remember it. Possibly because of Lily Savage.
