Actually think it’s underwhelming. They have tried to stick to the SF2 “sound feel” and just ended up sounding worse than modern takes on it. And I’ve heard better fan versions on OcRemix in this style. It’s not bad. Just underwhelming youtu.be/MxThbfaKXQU?...

Look I know it’s cliché, but it’s remembered so fondly for a reason. No other film made you immediately try and run jump off a wall after.

Technical issues aside (turning off V-sync seemed to mostly fix it), Castlevania Belmonts Curse demo 100% sold me on the game. People will rave about how good the movement feels, but for me the stand out star was that soundtrack. Boy what a banger to start with.

Today is the day I sit in pain waiting for my physical copy of Control Resonant in like 3 and a half weeks. I have reinstalled both Control and Alan Wake 2 in order to get me through this trying time. Love @remedygames.com but can't afford to buy it twice and need it physical so I can keep forever.

Digital soundtrack preorders being stuck inside an app is the worst. Just give us the tracks assholes. People that were gonna pirate are gonna pirate anyway

I went and worked with Tabletop Titans on this at UKGE. The game is amazing and the people behind it are incredibly passionate. The minis are stunning and the artist for the game is incredible. Please give it a look www.kickstarter.com/projects/tab...

DLSS 5 is the cumulation of the "High fidelity graphics are the best" crowd. The Mario in Unreal crowd. They have always strived for the sharpest most realistic (ish) looking thing over art direction. They simply can't see the thing that actually makes their games good.

Finished it last night. Great game. Much stronger in the first half than the second, but never below entertaining. Simply felt they had more style and ideas in the first half. Very much worth a play.

Caped Crusader episode 7 of season 2 has a track that plays consistently that sounds so much like the intro song to Resident Evil Outbreak. Honestly one of the most underrated pieces of music in the franchise. Such a solemn piece. youtu.be/0HcxMvprYa0?...

New name for the Mass Effect series sucks. Industry is borked, but sadly for the people that work for EA who will be effected, even if this wasn't immediate, it would be coming when sales collapse due to the new owners.

Losing the “console war” during the PS4/XB1 era was the unexpected generation where ultimately Xbox never recovered. Digital libraries and ecosystems were truly established for the first time, not just indie/arcade. Gamespass needs console sales, and that boat had already sailed.

000

Yousif A @yousifa.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Ever Crisis ending likely means we’ll see a console release in the next year. Significant plot that was relevant to remake saga is in there and really needs to be available somewhere. Gameplay needs an overhaul though

Just had a horrible realisation about FF7. Obv it’s gonna end with timelines getting fixed or at least our current one. Zack is going to realise he gets to be a hero, save cloud and be with Aerith in the lifestream. He’s gonna chose to go back and die…

This artwork in the Chameleon’s apartment in #spiderman2 was definitely also in the music museum earlier in the game. Now I wanna play again to see if there’s a hint he’s there.
