Cedar Waxwings have a diet of mainly berries and fruit – I didn't see any waxwings go after the pears in the pear tree, probably too big – but they'll hunt down insects in the warmer weather. This past weekend I watched quite a few juvenile Cedar Waxwings on the hunt.
