#Futuring (the verb) - especially optimistic, liberatory futuring - is a full body practice, which is why we started with some deep breaths and gentle stretches. #Creativity requires the entire body, mind, and spirit - which is what we are trying to unlock with our #workshops.

Also full disclosure, my startup too has an .ai domain name (which is how I learned about this in the first place) therefore I am myself a proud sponsor of Anguilla fish 🥰

Val @yogival.bsky.social · 29/04/2025

I think I just like stories of unplanned little glitches in this big & terrifying system we're in - where the levers of power or scales of justice or something are suddenly flipped & we have get some big wins for the small fish 🐟 Curious what other little glitches are out there... 👀

100

Val @yogival.bsky.social · 29/04/2025

Idk why I found this so fascinating & funny.. like they were allotted control over the domain in 1990.. they NEVER could've imagined this would happen!! 😅 And yet here we are- a bunch of fad-chasing, profit-hungry AI startups are funding Anguilla's sustainable fisheries.

100

Val @yogival.bsky.social · 29/04/2025

Even better, here's how they're using the funds: - paying down debt - key infrastructure (i.e. the airport) - renewable energy projects (i.e. sustainable fishery, biodiversity preservation) 🥹 so wholesome!! and smart!

100

Val @yogival.bsky.social · 29/04/2025

I have a really fun fact to make ur day😅 The small island nation of Anguilla owns the .ai domain, and since 2022 has been making millions (about $3M per month) in revenue from domain registrations🤑 This accounts for over 20% of its total government revenue ‼️
